New Year's Goals

Every year I try and set myself new goals to kick off the best year yet. I have been relatively successful in the past, so I have come up with some new ones for this year. Some are things that happen occasionally, and some will come up daily. A few of these (like the posture) are things I have been trying to work on for a while, so hopefully this will be the year! 

I'm a big fan of setting new goals for one's self throughout the year, and don't subscribe to the notion that New Years is THE TIME for a resolution. I do, however, like to start a new year with a positive headspace and an attempt at being my best self in a new way. 

For 2018 I am aiming to -

1. Improve my posture, both by walking with my head up and not slouching in my chair at work.

2. Cut back on my sugar intake. I'm not saying cut out sugar (my sweet tooth is massive), but I do want to be more mindful of how much sugar I am consuming and not blindly eat sweets and carbs all day.

3. Attempt some local city council meetings.

4. Be better at preparing lunch and snacks for the workweek ahead of time.
