With a bit more winter ahead of us, it can get boring to wear the same sweater and jeans combination (or tee and jeans for all my southern followers!), don’t you think? One easy way to get out of this rut is to dress up a sweater with a fun scarf. It adds some glamour, some extra color, and more interest to any outfit.
This outfit is one that I love and wear all the time, it’s such an easy formula to mix and match: cardigan/sweater + tank + jeans + scarf. Here I’m wearing a Lilly Pulitzer cashmere cardigan I got at the Annual Sale. The quality is wonderful. This sweater is so, so soft and it hasn’t pilled or shown any signs of wear even though I put it on all the time. They don’t have this specific one any more, but this one looks very similar and this Terri cashmere wrap is in the prettiest light blue. I also have on a tank top from Target. These tanks are so good! They are long and not see-through at all, and such a great price. Perfect for layering!
Finally, I’m wearing my favorite scarf, a Kate Spade silk one with the most darling peacock design. This particular one is sold out, but they have so many new cute ones! Plus, Tuckernuck makes the most amazing scarves too, and their new releases have the prettiest pastel pinks and light blues in them. Here re some of my favorites right now-
You can also dress up a sweater and add some glamour with a good statement earring. I really love the gold Lisi Lerch ginger ones for extra drama. I also love white earrings like these blossom earrings. They add a great pop of color to the hair.
