Next week is JD’s birthday so I decided to surprise him with an early birthday treat - funfetti Cookies! I made some cookies like this last year using the Milk Bar recipe, and they were really good! But also time consuming and a lot of ingredients I don’t typically have around the pantry. So, I decided to look for a simpler recipe and am so happy with how these turned out!! They are perfectly soft and chewy, took less than 10 minutes to mix up, look so fun! I don’t think they will make it to his actual birthday...guess I’ll have to make a cake! : )
In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Beat together butter and sugars. Add in vanilla and egg and beat until just combined. Slowly add in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in sprinkles. Let sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Bake at 350 for 13 minutes and cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
